Course participants will be familiar with the various levels of child restraint protection, and their use and misuse. They will also have an understanding of child restraint safety standards and provincial laws.

This course is mandatory for all foster parents.

Training on the safe and effective use of psychotropic medication for children in care. Participants will learn what psychotropic medications are; the importance of non-pharmacological intervention; consent polices and procedures; storage and administration policies and procedures; administration policies and procedures. 

This is mandatory training and requires a 100% grade on the quiz.
